Honorable Mention in the National Flute Association's 2017 Newly Published Music Competition in the Flute Choir Category
Dizzy was commissioned by Dr. Eileen Yarrison and premiered at the 2016 National Flute Association Convention in San Diego, California as a part of the convention's Youth Day.
Each movement focuses on a particular extended technique. Shake uses flutter tonguing, Blend pitch bends, Swirl uses jet whistles, and Bop uses beatboxing.
